Ubuntu won't recognize Razer Core X Chroma

I think this is the first time I haven't been able to find a solution or piece together one on Google before so here I go.. I have a 13" Razer blade and a Razer Core X Chroma. It connects perfectly and easily over Windows but I'd like to be able to make it work on Ubuntu too. I'm on a fresh install other than the fact I updated some intel drivers and installed amd drivers (for my Radeon RX Vega 64 from the amdgpu-install script). The first (and maybe largest hurdle) is that I can't get ubuntu to recognize the dang thing's even plugged in. The settings gui just shows the standard "Thunderbolt could not be detected." grayed out error while lspci shows the following output-

lspci

Also boltctl power -q shows the following-

supported: yes power state: on 1 active power guards: guard '4' ├─ who: boltctl └─ pid: 2650

Both boltctl list and boltctl domains show absolutely nothing. I honestly don't care about using the GPU, I just want to be able to use my keyboard and mouse that's hooked to it so if anyone can help me, I promise you $20 anyway you want it.
