Too much fresh Rosemary

I am not used to using fresh herbs and I put too much in my yellow split pea soup. The soup is very good except for this heavier than normal taste of rosemary. The soup has a chicken broth base and has veggies, bacon, ham, peas, and a little barley addad. It is seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and garlic.
