We are trying to use Microsoft Outlook 365 as a lightweight resource planning tool.
In order to decide whether Outlook can fulfill our basic requirements, I would highly appreciate any suggestions if (and how) the following scenario can be realized in Outlook 365:
multiple users (perhaps combined in some sort of group) can invite other users to meetings on behalf of a general (dummy) user
on behalf of the dummy user, two resources shall be reserved: a room and a piece of equipment to be placed in this room
on behalf of the dummy user, each user must be able to change reservations made by other users.
for each user, it must be possible to find out easily which equipment is located in which room
