Outgoing ssh connections don't work on airplane WiFi

I'm not able to connect to my SSH server from Jetblue in-flight WiFi. Could their router somehow be blocking this? I am not trying to circumvent any security policy, just trying to understand if this is an unintended technical limitation. This happens on every airplane, but it works from all other computers including Megabus and tethered over a cell phone. The internet connection is fast enough; I'm able to use Teamviewer and even stream music.

It hangs for about a minute or two after the last line before "connection reset".
