Mysql - Where i can find Innodb_history_list_length variable in new versions of mysql

by Kislik   Last Updated April 16, 2018 12:06 PM

Mysql version: percona-server-server-5.7 5.7.21-20-1.stretch

What i get in new version of mysql when i try execute the query:

SELECT count FROM information_schema.innodb_metrics WHERE name = 'trx_rseg_history_len';

'INFORMATION_SCHEMA.GLOBAL_STATUS' feature is disabled: see the documentation for 'show_compatibility_56'

What i'm expecting get (only value):

386

Question: How i can execute the same query in newest versions mysql without using information_schema

Why i do it: From a long transaction grows undo-segment in the ibdata file, and this file can not be reduced in any way. And if i get a "big value" in my check i realize, that file is growing, and i find "hang" process and then kill it.
