How to properly install Nfsd for Openedx in Ubuntu 16

I am trying to install Open edx devstack on my ubuntu 16.04. For that nfsd client needs to be running on my ubuntu. I installed it using command:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nfs-common

but when i use below commands,

sudo nfsd status or sudo nfsd start

It gives error:

sudo: nfsd: command not found.

Tell me how to install nfs client on my ubuntu, so that open edx devstack is installed?
