Blender 2.8 keeps crashing after updating gpu drivers

I have a gtx 1660 ti everything worked fine, but when i updated the nvidia studio drivers to the 9/04/2019 release, and tried to check if the render times got better, but to my disappointment blender keeps crashing every time I click render, is there a fix to that, or do i just have to switch to the game ready driver??? I tried rendering in cycles if that's important, i didn't have time to check eevee yet.
